The prize draw is open to anyone aged 18 and over. You do not have to be a resident of the UK to enter. However, if you are not a resident of the UK, we advise you check the local laws in your country of residence to ensure you are allowed to enter and accept the prizes available.
There is no limit to the amount of entries anyone can make. You can purchase up to 10 tickets online in one transaction; multiple transactions can be made if you wish. Postal entries will count as one entry each and must include the relevant details stated in the terms & conditions.
The WinMyParadise competition launches 1st October 2020. It will close at midnight on 30th September 2021. Postal entries will still be accepted up to 3 days after the competition closing date.
WinMyParadise need to reach a minimum of 350,000 paid tickets to go ahead with the prize draw in giving away the title deed to Kisiwa Kitau and the £400,000 cash.
The Holiday prize draws will take place in different ticket sale stages throughout the competition. The first prize draw will take place once we reach 10,000 paid ticket sales, followed by 50,000, 100,000, 150,000, 200,000, 250,000 & 300,000.
If the target number of tickets as mentioned above and stated in the terms and conditions is not met by the competition end date, the competition promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a cash alternative. This will be equal to the total amount of payments received minus reasonable costs, not to exceed 50% of net payments received. You can read the full details in the terms & conditions.
Purchasing a ticket through the website costs £11 (cost includes a booking fee). Alternatively, you can enter for free by post.
All prizes, including the free Holiday give-aways will be drawn using a random number generating algorithm and is therefore completely secure and random.
The final prize draw to determine the winner of Kisiwa Kitau and the £400,000 cash prize will also be supervised by the law firm, Licensing Lawyers.
If you choose to include a £1 donation to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust with your online entry, please be assured that 100% of your donation will be remitted to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in support of their conservation work. WinMyParadise have a contract with Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and all donations will be paid quarterly to ensure the funds can be utilised as soon as possible.
The competition winner will be notified by phone/email within 28 days of the competition end date.
No, the winner will be given the £400,000 cash regardless of whether they choose to build the beach house or not. However, this is a unique opportunity for the winner where they’ll have the chance to design and live in their dream beach house with little or as much input as they choose. The estimated worth of the pre-approved beach house built on Kisiwa Kitau is £3.5 million.
Yes, the competition is worldwide. The entrant should check the local laws in their country of residence to ensure the competition prize is legal.
Yes, Kisiwa Kitau will legally belong to the winner so they choose to keep it or sell it if they wish.
